NZ Best Country Artist Winner and 2 x Golden Guitar nominee, Jenny Mitchell is a Melbourne based storyteller from the deep south of New Zealand. After supporting Kasey Chambers on 32 dates around Australia, Jenny is hitting the road to celebrate the release of her new album Forest House.

No stranger to the road, Jenny was recently awarded a scholarship to perform at Nashville’s iconic AmericanaFest and has toured Australia and New Zealand extensively over the last decade - supporting artists including Fanny Lumsden (AU), Tami Neilson (NZ) and Nadia Reid (NZ) along the way.

Forest House is an album that reflects everything that can happen within four walls; the new beginnings, the leaving, the good, the bad, the nostalgic and everything in between. Recorded in a house surrounded by birds and bush in rural New Zealand, Forest House will be released on May 16 2025 via Melbourne based label Civilians.

With a sound that No Depression describes as, “poetry that dominates a beautiful melody,” Jenny Mitchell is comfortable with a country twang or softly spoken ballad and is rapidly capturing fans across the globe.
